Shushtar, historical hydraulic system, inscribed as a masterpiece of creative genius, can be traced back to Darius the Great in the 5th century B.C. this place is located in shushtar city, in the north of Khuzestan province, southwest  of Iran. This system has been registered in UNESCO’s list as a tangible cultural heritage site in 2009. In the Sassanian dynasty era, this place was an island city on Karun river and selected to become the summer capital. The river was channeled to form a moat around the city, while bridges and main gates into Shushtar were built to the east, west, and south.    What amaze you is that after centuries, parts of this hydraulic system are still working. This historical place alongside its old houses in really worthy to visit.

Hengam Island

Home of dolphins, this beautiful island is located in south of Qeshm Island, Iran, in the Persian Gulf. Kandovan is formed hundreds years ago by volcano eruption affect in Mount Sahand in Azerbaijan. Cliffs have shaped hive cells that are the home of natives. A lovely village in the heart of tabas desert. It is located south Khorasan provins, Iran.  Due to an earthquake in 1978, the old village destroyed but another village was founded near it.
